Treading New Territory

I have always been more of a baker (because sweet treats are more fun to eat), but I am slowly learning to enjoy the art of cooking a delicious meal....as long as it is quick and easy ha! So I have been gathering recipes from far and wide. One of my favorites so far for a cold and rainy day is from my mom, it is called 7 can soup. It is as easy as pie, and delicious to boot. Here is the recipe:

7 Can Soup

1 lb. browned beef
2 cans corn
1 can rotel
3 cans minestrone soup
1 can ranch beans

Put all the ingredients in your crock pot, and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Make some jiffy cornbread, because clearly it is the best, and your meal is complete!

You should try it, you won't regret it I promise. Feel free to leave me any recipes to try. However I promise you, if the directions are more than a paragraph long, I absolutely will not make it.

The Latest and Greatest

This is a little collage from our honeymoon way back in December. We went to Disneyworld and it was awesome, of course! The weather never got below 80 and we didn't have to wait longer than 15 minutes for any ride! It could not have gone more smoothly! What a magical world, oh Disney how I love you!

Since then James and I have been living all over Texas (we like to consider ourselves vagabonds)! We lived in San Antonio the first month of our marriage, then we moved to Austin where I worked with foster kids and James worked at a bank. We both hated our jobs and decided to make another move. So we both started applying again, and I got a job with an agency called Early Childhood Intervention in Fort Worth. So once again, we packed our few possessions and u-hauled our way to Fort Worth. We have been enjoying being close to so much family and friends from college. We will see how long we will last in Fort Worth, we are already getting antsy for another move. What city shall we prey on next? Hold on to the edge of your seats, it's going to be a wild ride!
